The Red Hat Society®'s Laugh Lines:
 Stories of Inspiration and Hattitude
by Sue Ellen Cooper

Review by Queen Blabalot
I've just read this great new book and I must say that at first I felt it was just more of the last book. But as I read on, much to my surprise,  I couldn't put it down! This is a book of sharing, inspiration, caring, laughter, support and good 'ole fun! All of what the Red Hat Society is all about. I couldn't wait to share copies with friends,  my fellow Red Hatters and to send a copy for inspiration to a family member who is battling cancer. The RHS is about bonding and support and love. It's laughter and tears and everything in between and it's so wonderful to read the stories so many members have submitted. I even found an adorable story about a red hatter I know!
Rush right out and get a copy!! You wont' be sorry!

We now have several copies of this book for our chapter members to read... Please contact Queen Blabalot to borrow a copy.

Once upon a time Sue Ellen Cooper gave a friend a red hat…and started an international phenomenon. And after she penned The Red Hat Society, the #1 New York Times bestseller that extolled the fun and friendship Red Hatters enjoy, the letters, phone calls, and E-mails came pouring in. In this new book, Sue Ellen Cooper shares with all of us the wonderful stories, poems, and anecdotes she received.

You'll find true tales about courtship, marriage, husbands, pets, child raising, grandparenthood…stories that are poignant, as well as those that will give you belly laughs. You'll discover what women say about their lives before and after the big five-oh, their funniest moments, the events that challenged them, and how they face life now.

As Sue Ellen says, "The magic is not limited to the times when we are actually wearing those red hats! We belong. We matter. It's natural that we share the good times and the bad with each other." From the stories of women finding new friends, new triumphs, and new adventures, to Sue Ellen's insights on spreading "hattitude" everywhere you can, THE RED HAT SOCIETY®'S LAUGH LINES will put a smile on your face…and inspire you to celebrate every minute of your life.

Meet the Red Hat Club, the sassiest southerners since the Ya-Ya's!
Meet Georgia, SuSu, Teeny, Diane, and Linda--five women who've been best friends through thirty years since high school. Sit in when they don their red hats and purple outfits to join Atlanta's Ladies Who Lunch for a delicious monthly serving of racy jokes, iced tea and chicken salad, baskets of sweet rolls, the latest Buckhead gossip, and most of all--lively support and caring through the ups and downs of their lives.
When Diane discovers her banker husband has a condo (with mistress) that he bought with their retirement funds, the Red Hats swing into action and hang him with his own rope in a story that serves up laughter, friendship, revenge, high school memories, long-lost loves, a suburban dominatrix, and plenty of white wine and junk food. From the 1960s to the present, The Red Hat Club is a funny, unforgettable novel that shows the power women can find when they accept and support each other.
This novel is a work of fiction about a group of women who belong to a group like The Red Hat Society. It has not been authorized or endorsed by The Red Hat Society.
